H-beam / Arc-shaped H-beam

H-shaped steel is a structural steel with an optimized cross-section shape and excellent mechanical properties. According to the production process, H-shaped steel can be divided into two categories: hot-rolled H-shaped steel and welded H-shaped steel.

Welding H-beamsThe strip steel is cut to the required width with the appropriate thickness and welded at the edges and waist on the welding equipment.

Hot-rolled H-shaped steelIt is made using a four-roll hole-type rolling process, through procedures such as heating, rolling, edge trimming, and straightening. Unlike the two-roll rolling of ordinary I-beams, this process endows it with characteristics of low energy consumption and cost advantages.Currently, H-shaped steel is widely used in large factories, residential buildings, sports venues, bridges, and foundation pit support projects. Due to its outstanding lateral displacement resistance in the strong axis direction, it is often used as beams and columns in buildings, fully taking advantage of its structural benefits. Data shows that buildings using H-shaped steel not only use materials more efficiently but can also effectively increase usable space.
